Young Performers Program
Athena Music Foundation's Young Performers Program gives talented young singers and instrumentalists the opportunity to work with and perform alongside professional artists in an array of culturally and artistically responsive musical performances. Athena Music Foundation honors the capacity of each child to create meaning and engender artistic imagination rooted in collaborative, respectful, and inclusive practices inspiring a lifelong love of music.

Supporting the next generation
Athena Music Foundation supports the next generation of rising operatic stars by sponsoring top prizes in national and international opera competitions. Our recent sponsorships include The Premiere Opera Foundation International Vocal Competition and Opera Index Competition.
Extraordinary young soprano Meigui Zhang won the First Place Prize sponsored by Athena Music Foundation in the Premiere Opera Competition. This season Meigui sings Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro at the Metropolitan Opera.
